Bill Rosendahl has represented the 11th District on the Los Angeles City Council since July 2005. He was elected with a mandate for positive change, and has been a forceful advocate for neighborhood empowerment and better government.

As the voice of the Westside in City government, Rosendahl has been a champion of: enhanced public safety; mass transit and traffic improvement projects; environmental protection; and affordable housing. He has fought for a community-friendly modernization of LAX, pension reform, and government transparency.

Rosendahl currently chairs the council’s Transportation Committee and is vice chair of both the Trade, Commerce and Tourism Committee and the Audits and Governmental Efficiency Committee. He also serves on the Budget & Finance Committee, the Board of Referred Powers, the Ad Hoc Committee on Proposed Downtown Stadium and chairs the Ad Hoc Committee on Social Equity.
