Final EIR Single Use Carryout Bag Ordinance

The City of Los Angeles is proposing to adopt and implement an ordinance to ban single-use plastic carryout bags, charge a fee on paper bags, and promote the use of reusable bags at specified retailers.

The Single Use Bag Policy and FEIR will be in a Special Meeting of Energy and Environment on Monday, June 17th, at 3 p.m., and in Council the next day Tuesday, June 18th, at 10 a.m.

Both meetings will be held at Los Angeles City Hall.
