Save the Date: LA Press Club Roast to Honor Bill Rosendahl

Mark your calendars! The Los Angeles Press Club announced it will honor LA City Councilmember and former cable broadcaster Bill Rosendahl during a roast and toast event on the night of May 16.

The evening will be truly special for both Rosendahl and the Press Club: the organization recently established a fund in Rosendahl’s name to help produce public affairs journalism on television. All proceeds from the event will go to the Bill Rosendahl Fund to Support Public Affairs Journalism.

The Press Club’s roast and toast theme will allow special guests to roast the Councilmember, as well as offer others a more gentle way to honor Rosendahl and his eight years of accomplishments while on the City Council.

The list of hosts, roasters, and toasters continues to grow:

Lila Garrett, Connect the Dots

Ted Johnson, Variety

Robert Kovacik, Anchor, NBC LA

Jill Stewart, LA Weekly

Patt Morrison, Los Angeles Times and KPCC

Dan Schnur, former conservative commentator
