Invitation: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Penmar Park Green Project

Los Angeles City Councilmember Bill Rosendahl, Department of Public Works, and Recreation and Parks invite the community to a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of a Prop O project in Venice.

The $14 million storm water facility at Penmar Park contains the largest storage tank in the City. The tank is part of a system that filters and cleans runoff headed for the waters off Venice Beach. Back in 2012, Councilmember Bill Rosendahl gave his YouTube viewers a behind the scenes look at this green project in the 11th District.

The ceremony will take place on Monday, April 15, 11 a.m., at Penmark Park. An event flyer with more details can be found below.
