Rosendahl Announces Street Closures for Annual Los Angeles 13.1 Half Marathon

The Office of Councilmember Bill Rosendahl would like to remind constituents of the street closures in effect this weekend for the fourth annual Allstate Life Insurance Los Angeles 13.1 Marathon.

The event takes place Sunday morning, January 13th on the streets of Venice, Marina del Rey and Playa del Rey. The race starts at Ocean Front Walk and Rose Ave. in Venice at 7:00 a.m., and ends in Playa del Rey at approximately 11:00 a.m.

Our office has been working with Generic Events and various City departments to minimize the impact the race will have on residents. Once again, event managers created a point to point course so that traffic control officers will be able to open streets as the last runner passes through an area. View a map of the course.

According to the race website, the following streets will be impacted during the race. Please be advised of all parking restrictions in your area.
