Los Angeles City Councilmember Bill Rosendahl advised constituents of the street closures and alternate routes for the 35th Annual Christmas Run that takes place this Saturday in Venice.
Organizers will take participants on a course that starts and ends in Santa Monica and takes participants on a course south into various parts of Venice. See map below. The event takes place from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Constituents are being urged to use Washington and Ocean Park Blvd for east-west travel. Lincoln Blvd will remain open during the event.
“I’m always concerned about the impact of weekend events on residents, businesses and places of worship,” said Rosendahl. “Throughout the years, my staff has worked with event organizers to address the street closures and possible delays associated with the Christmas Run.”
