Responsible Banking Ordinance Heads to Committee

Councilmember Bill Rosendahl interviewed Councilman Richard Alarcon and City Administrative Officer Miguel Santana about their separate proposals for a Responsible Banking Ordinance in the City of Los Angeles. Both proposals are expected to be discussed today in Budget and Finance Committee.  The Responsible Banking Ordinance seeks to require the City to do business with socially responsible banks.
