The meeting will feature Senior Lead Officer Philip Enbody who will go over crime prevention and enforcement, neighborhood watch programs, e-policing and yahoo groups and emergency preparedness. The meeting will be held at 1133 S Bundy Drive at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The Mar Vista Patch is reporting a fatal shooting that appears to be gang related (source). According to the post, two people were shot around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Pearl Street and Sawtelle Boulevard. No other information is available at this time.
MomsLA.com is reminding about a new California law (effective January 1st) that requires all children under age 8 to sit in booster seats unless they are 4 foot 9 or taller. Those who don’t buckle up could face a $475 fine.
