A recap of some of the news and events making headlines in the 11th District and the City of Los Angeles.
CBS LA, KTLA and Venice Patch have reports on the new Venice Beach Draft Ordinance that will go before the full City Council on Tuesday. “Many of you have followed the City’s ongoing struggle with the judicial system to come up with a workable plan to regulate commercial vending, promote entertainers and performers, and protect residential quality of life at Venice Beach,” said Councilman Bill Rosendahl in a letter to constituents. Rosendahl invites the public to attend the meeting and comment on the issue in person or via email.
Councilman Bill Rosendahl shared a YouTube video which highlights the people who are benefiting from the largest public works project in the City. The new Bradley West Terminal at Los Angeles International Airport is expected to create 40,000 jobs over the next several years. Watch the video here.
