UPDATE: Alert has been lifted as of Nov 2nd @ 8 p.m.
The Los Angeles Fire Department has provided more information on the Red Flag alert that is specific to constituents in the 11th District, especially those who live in Pacific Palisades.
The office of Councilmember Bill Rosendahl shared the Red Flag alert with you on Tuesday, shortly after LAFD issued the alert that warned residents of the danger in fire prone areas. The alert also mentioned the need for increased awareness involving parking restrictions during this event.
A spokesperson for LAFD tells us a two man brush patrol will be deployed today at Fire Station 23. This is in addition to the six firefighters regularly assigned to the station.
Fire station 69 will have a four member engine deployed to augment the existing eight personnel regularly assigned to the station.
