Councilmember Bill Rosendahl issued the following statement after the City Council voted 14-0 in favor of pension reform:
“I applaud my colleagues on the City Council who voted to approve pension reform in the City of Los Angeles. We have a responsibility to the constituents of this great City to reform and stabilize our system of benefits for employees. The unanimous decision today is a step in the right direction for good fiscal health and I would have joined my council colleagues to vote in favor of pension reform. I am glad to see we are moving forward.”
