Councilmembers Bill Rosendahl and Dennis Zine honored two Los Angeles World Airport Police Officers for rescuing a woman who was experiencing a heart attack.
The event took place at Los Angeles International Airport back in December in front of Terminal 2.
This is when Etel Martinez — a resident of Mission Hills — was at LAX to drop off her sister.
Officers Robert Mosquera and Thi Tran responded to the call and used cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and an automated external defibrillator from inside the terminal to help Martinez regain vital signs.
