The National Weather Service has continued its Red Flag Warning and High Wind Watch until 3:00pm Friday for areas of Los Angeles County. In response, the Los Angeles Fire Department has activated 21 addition Engine Companies and eight Brush Patrol Units throughout the City.
Fire Station 69 in Pacific Palisades has staffed their Ready Reserve Engine Company with four personnel, to augment the eight firefighters regularly assigned. There is also a second Engine Company pre-deployed to Fire Station 69 today. Fire Station 23, also in Pacific Palisades, has a two-member Brush Patrol Unit fully staffed today, to augment the six firefighters regularly assigned. These additional resources will remain activated through the duration of these high fire danger weather conditions.
