Metro is warning Angelenos of several nights of full directional closures of I-405 this week and next.
Contractors are preparing for reconstruction of the Mulholland Bridge which requires widening and restriping sections of the freeway underneath the structure.
Closures are expected to begin on Tuesday night for the Northbound portion of work. Southbound closures will begin on Dec 3 and continue on subsequent nights through Dec 8, weather permitting.
Los Angeles Metro sent an official release citing an on-ramp closure to start at 7 p.m. followed by full lane closures at 10 p.m.
Sepulveda Boulevard will remain open as a detour route during contstruction.
Date: Tuesday, November 29
Closure Location: Northbound I-405 Freeway from Getty Center Drive to Ventura Blvd.
Date: Saturday, December 3 to Thursday, December 8
Closure Location: Southbound I-405 Freeway from US-101 Freeway to Getty Center Dr.
