The United States Veterans’ Artists Alliance will present an event Tuesday night at City Hall to celebrate the literary works of American veterans.
Councilman Bill Rosendahl, a Vietnam-era army vet and strong supporter of veterans’ affairs, will introduce Veterans Vox 365. The event is free and open to the public.
Keith Jeffreys is helping to organize this event which is being held in the Bradley Tower.
“The idea behind Veterans Vox 365 and everything we do with the United States Veterans Artists Alliance is to give veterans a sense of what it is to be a veteran, to help them take pride in their service,” says USVAA’s Art Director Keith Jeffreys, according to an article at www.laprogressive.com.
The USVAA is a non-profit that serves to support veterans through artistry, giving them a space to do and perform artistic work, as well as helping vets navigate through beurocracy and job finding.
Veterans Vox 365 will take place in the Tom Bradley Tower of City Hall on Tuesday, Nov. 1st. Organizers will hold a reception at 7 p.m. followed by the presentation from 8 to 9:30 p.m.
Space is limited and you must reserve a seat by calling 310.559.2116. Parking is free.
Donations will be accepted with all proceeds benefiting the Historic AMVETS Post II Homeless Veterans Outreach Program.
