As part of the widening of the Olympic under-crossing, the contractor will erect pre-cast girders to allow for the widening and construction of an HOV lane. The contractor will also be installing the work and overhead decks. This activity requires the full closure of Olympic Blvd. from Cotner to Beloit.
What: Bridge girder installation
When: Installation is anticipated to take place on Monday, August 29 for five nights. Anticipated work and closure hours are from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am, weather permitting.
Where: Olympic Blvd., from Cotner to Beloit.
What to Expect:
Full closure of Olympic, from Cotner to Beloit, from August 29 to September 2, 2011 from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am.
Traffic will be detoured to Sepulveda Blvd.
Emergency vehicle access will be maintained.
